Pearl V. Woodhull, 87, of Poplar, died Monday October 3, 2011 at Middle River Health and Rehabilitation Center.

She was born in Albia, Iowa on Jan. 3, 1924 the daughter of Arthur and Fannie Hyde.

Pearl loved to go fishing. She also enjoyed crocheting, gardening, and traveling, especially just going for a ride. Most important to her was spending time with her family.

She is survived by her five sons, Charles (Mary Annette), David, William (Joy), Kenneth (Samantha) and Lloyd "George", Jr. (Julie); five daughters, Sandra Faye, Donna (Curt) Pearson, Susan (Fran) Van Ert, Bonnie Woodhull and Lisa Jackson; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Pearl was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd G. Woodhull, Sr. in 2010; her parents, and a son, Gary.

A memorial service will be held on Sat. Oct. 8, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Mission Covenant Church in Poplar. Associate Pastor, James N. Walsh will officiate. Visitation will begin one hour prior. Inurnment will follow in Poplar Cemetery.

Downs Funeral Home, corner of 19th St. and Ogden Ave., is assisting the family with arrangements.
