Peter J. Garramone, Sr., 71 of Superior, died Monday April 11, 2022, at St. Luke's Hospital in Duluth.

Peter was born in Duluth on Oct. 8, 1950, the son of Joseph and Cecelia (Soulier) Garramone

He was a merchant marine on the Great Lakes for many years. Peter was a member of the Bad River Tribe of Lake Superior Chippewa. He enjoyed spending time at the casino.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Bob and sister, Sandra.

Peter is survived by his children, Michelle McCauley, Peter (Chantelle) Garramone, Jr., Terry Garramone, Tony Garramone and Marko Garramone; grandchildren, Makayla, Giovioni, Olivia, Vincenzo, Xzander, Odayin, Genesee; great grandchild, Armani; brothers Gerald, Michael, and David Garramone; and his cousin, Carol Bjorklund.

A private Celebration of Life will be held.
