Peter Thomas Kervina, 84, passed away Saturday, March 7, 2026 at Dove Health Care in Superior, WI.
Peter was born October 11, 1941 to Florence (Filiatrault) and Frank Kervina in Oliver, WI. He graduated from Central High School in 1959 and enlisted in the US Army that same year and then he enlisted with the US Navy from 1960 to 1965.
Peter was a machinist by trade working in Kenosha, WI with Dynamatic Technologies for many years, following retiring the move back to Superior. He was a member of the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers.
Peter enjoyed hunting, fishing, bowling, garden and yard work, and his cat named Kris. He cherished spending time with his friends at the golf course, his neighbors, especially Larry and Marie and with his brother, Tim. Peter talked on the phone with his cousin Clarence every day. He collected funny cartoons, painted rocks, and walked every morning to Kwik Trip for donuts.
Peter is preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Betty Kervina, his brothers, Victor Kervina and Frederick (Fritzy) Kervina.
He is survived by his sisters, Rose Kunesh and Lottie Trudell and brother, Timothy Kervina as well as nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. Thursday, April 23, 2026 at Downs Life Celebration Center, 1902 N 34th St., Superior, WI. A graveside service will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, April 24, 2026 at Greenwood Cemetery.
