Phyllis J. Cheselski Nygaard, 86, formerly of Superior and currently of Duluth, died Wednesday September 16, 2020 at Viewcrest Health Center in Duluth.

Phyllis was born in Barnum, MN on June 6, 1934 the daughter of Ruth (Cashman) and Hans Peterson. She married John Cheselski on Dec. 1, 1957.

She worked for Head of the Lakes Electric, retiring after 30 years. Phyllis enjoyed traveling with her friend and co-worker Mae Lagro.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John; son, Michael; infant brother Floydy and brothers, Don, Leroy, and Paul.

Following Phyllis' wishes, a private graveside service will be held at Graceland Cemetery.
