Phyllis R. Mihalik, 82, of Superior died Sunday, April 19, 2015 in her home.

She was born June 10, 1932 in Palisade, Minnesota to Elner and Gertrude (Larson) Andrews, and was one of twelve brothers and sisters.

Phyllis married James C. Mihalik on June 13, 1953.

Phyllis was a longtime member of Faith United Methodist Church and also the Faith United Methodist Women. She loved her church and faithfully attended bible study. She loved family gatherings, movie nights, and playing cards with her friends in the community where she lived.

Phyllis is survived by two daughters; Paula (Laurence) Zoldos and Lisa R. Houk both of Superior; her grandchildren, Jennifer and Angela Michalski, Chad (Nicole) Mihalik, Timothy Houk, Paige Lambert, Jessie Zoldos Ruuska, and Laura Defoe; and several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James C. Mihalik, in 1999; a son, Jeffrey J. Mihalik, in 1998; and eight brothers and sisters.

Her memorial service will be Monday, April 27th at 11:00 a.m. in Faith United Methodist Church with Rev. Joel Certa-Werner officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service and inurnment will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
