Ramona A. Verdoljak, 86, Superior WI, passed away peacefully in her sleep Monday, March 12, 2018.

She was born in Chetek, WI, on July 27, 1931. She is preceded by her husband, John D. Verdoljak; parents, Mary and Selder Anderson; daughter, Rocky Clark; son-in-law, Dean 'Odie' Eldridge; and siblings, Noel, Douglas 'Buddy', James 'Sam', Charles 'Chuck', Harley 'Buck', Harold 'Ole', Delores 'Honey', Treva, and Avis.

Ramona was a member of St. Williams Catholic Church and the Catholic Daughters of the Americas.

In her life, she enjoyed bowling, baking, canning, gardening, flowers, sewing, crocheting, and reading.  Ramona was an outstanding cook who willingly fed everyone.  Above all her favorite past time was spending time with her family. She loved her family deeply.

She is survived by her daughters, Wendy (Duane) Johnson, Paula Eldridge, and Johnna (Richard) Carlson, and son-in-law, Greg Clark; grandchildren, Tiffany (Chad) Jenner, Lyndsay (Justin) Maccoux, Nonnie (Kyle) Aho, Brent, Marki, and Rocky Carlson; great-grandchildren, Kylee, Cole, Blake, Brody, and Cullen; sisters, Patsy (Neil) Lagro, and Charleene 'Syke' Thompson.

Her infectious energy, passion, quick smile along with her spitfire attitude will be greatly missed by family & friends.

Her visitation will be on Friday, March 16, from 10:00 until the 11:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Williams Catholic Church with Rev. Fr. Andrew Ricci as celebrant. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.

Downs Funeral Home, 1617 N 19th Street, is assisting the family with arrangements.
