Randy S. Robertson, 51, of 1124 Baxter Ave., Superior, Wis. died suddenly Tues., Sept. 8, 2009 in Duluth, Minn.

He was born Jan. 1, 1958 in Superior and was a lifelong resident.

Randy was employed by the School District of Duluth, and was in charge of H.V.A.C. (heating, ventilation and air conditioning).

He was a sports fanatic, and he was always there to give a helping hand to his friends. Randy was a very witty person. He always looked forward to going to breakfast on the weekends with J.D.

Randy is survived by his wife, Yvette; daughters, Rindi and Jessica; a step-daughter, Tiffanie; brothers, Darrell, Jimmy, Jerry, and Mike; sisters, Cassie, Mary, Rhonda and Pat; three grandchildren; and his best friends, his dogs, Margie and Tobie.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Samuel and Rita Robertson; brothers, Bob and Ricky; sisters, Margie and Rita; and a nephew, Bobby.

His Memorial Service will be held on Monday at 11:00 a.m. in the Downs Funeral Home, on the corner of 19th & Ogden Ave. with Gary Banker, Lay Minister Assistant of Concordia Lutheran Church officiating. Visitation will be after 5:00 p.m. on Sunday in the Funeral Home and burial will take place at a later date in Calvary Cemetery.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Jim "J.D." Dalton, Jim Engebretson, Dave Nelson, Jeff Graves, Dick Erickson, Mike Tucker, Kim Krause, Ray Midbon, Ernie Conito, Jr., Tim Larson, Greg Campbell, Jim Karvonen and Donnie Miller.
