Edward “Ray Ray” R. Erickson, 74, of Superior died Thursday July 16, 2026, at his residence.

Ray Ray was born on June 24, 1952, the son of Donald Sr. “Swede” and Helen (Linde) Erickson.

He married Virgina M. Hoffman on January 15, 1977 and they celebrated 35 years of marriage until her death in 2012.

He worked for Jeno’s and many years at Walmart. He was a member of the Eagle’s Club.

Ray Ray was an avid Green Bay Packer Fan and always wore his Packer attire. He also enjoyed fishing and listening to music.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Virginia; daughter, Linda on June 3, 2026; brother, Donald “Squirrel” Erickson, Jr.; brother-in-law, Joe McLaughlin; and special friend, Betsy.

Ray Ray is survived by his sister, Linda McLaughlin; brother, Conrad (Pat) Erickson; grandchildren, Matthew, Christifer, Akasha, Corey, and Cole; and many nieces and nephews.

A graveside service for Ray Ray and his daughter, Linda, will be held on Thursday July 23rd at 2:30 p.m. at Graceland Cemetery in Superior.
