Ray was born October 4, 1949 in Minneapolis, MN to Raymond and Betty (Bursch) Breitung and was currently living in Roseville, CA.
He graduated from Cathedral High School in Superior in 1967.
We were all very proud of his many accomplishments. He moved to Minneapolis and managed the Curtis Hotel and later went into property management. Ray moved to California in 1983 and continued to work in Real Estate. He went into business for himself as owner of Priority Property Management. Before retiring he was the owner of a residential and commercial glass company.
He loved carpentry and following his retirement he stayed very active helping his friend Gerry and many others with remodeling projects. He had a passion for classic cars. He was a great cook and enjoyed hosting many dinner parties at his home. He never turned down a fine restaurant or a chance to golf and enjoyed many hours of blackjack with his friends. He was an avid San Francisco 49ers fan.
Ray loved being in the country and looked forward to an annual fishing trip to Alaska and spending time with his friends.
Everyone who knew Ray understood that he had a very big heart and was always willing to help. Family was very important to him and he surrounded himself with great friends who became his family in California. He had a great work ethic and was loved by many.
