Raymond L. Schintz, 58, died peacefully Monday, September 24, 2018 in his residence, after a long battle with liver cancer.

Raymond was born on May 28, 1960 in St. Paul, MN the son of Robert Schintz and Ann Henning. He worked for many years as a carpenter for Joe Ligman and Ligman Properties.

He enjoyed playing pool and horseshoes. He was a 'Jack of all trades' and loved to fix everything. He also enjoyed socializing and being the life of the party.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Grace.

Raymond is survived by his wife, Vickie Bazoff of Superior; children, Raymond (Jennifer) Schintz Jr. of Superior, Adam (Elizabeth Schintz of North Carolina, Vanessa (Toddrey) Breezee of Columbia Heights, MN, Kurt 'KJ' (Kila Rice) Bazoff Bethel, MN; 13 grandchildren; sisters, Louise Stringer of Seattle, Linda Hart of Sacramento, and Donna (Steve) Wiersgalla of Newport, MN; a brother, Phil Schintz of Superior and many nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Raymond's life will be held on Saturday, October 13 from Noon until 4:00 p.m. at the Checker Board Bar, 3957 County Road E, South Range, WI 54874.
