Raymond W. Tollers, 52, lifelong resident of Superior, died unexpectedly Wednesday June 12, 2024, at Essentia St. Mary's Hospital in Duluth.

Ray was born on June 19, 1971, in Superior, the son of Raymond D. and Lynn Tollers. He married Toni Vendela on May 15, 1999, in Bethel Lutheran Church and they recently celebrated 25 years of marriage.

He graduated from Superior High School with the class of 1989. He had worked for many local businesses over the years, most recently with FedEx.

Ray loved dirt track racing and created Turn3Motorsports. He enjoyed bowling, especially watching Nash bowl, playing softball, having BBQ's and socializing with friends and family.

He was preceded in death by his dad, Ray; infant sister, Maria; and grandmother, Lorraine Tollers.

Ray is survived by his wife, Toni; son, Nash (Andrea Schlais); mom, Lynn Mike of Superior; siblings, Jamie (Shaun) Gudowski of Superior, Danielle (Nick) Lavato of Superior, Matt (Millisa) Tollers of Superior, Christy (Ted) Ruth of Lake Nebagamon, Tayler Tollers and Chandler Tollers both of Duluth; stepmother, Michele Fitzgerald of Duluth, mother-in-law and father-in-law, Ron and Karen Vendela of Superior, sisters-in-law, Anna (Jim) Banaszak of Buffalo, NY, and Ingrid Vendela of Forest Lake, MN; and many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Visitation will be on Wednesday June 19th from 11:00 a.m. until the 1:00 p.m. funeral service at Bethel Lutheran Church, 5821 John Ave., with Pastor Justin Krych as officiant.

In the spirit of Ray, racing attire is encouraged.

An additional Celebration of Ray's life will be held on Saturday, July 13th at the Log Cabin from Noon until 4:00p.m.
