Regina F. Kania, 90, of Superior, died Saturday, June 3, 2017, following a lengthy illness, at New Perspective Senior Living, Superior.

She was born April 19, 1927, in Superior, daughter of Joseph and Rozalia

(Adamczak) Miotke.

On June 9, 1951, Regina Miotke and Lawrence Kania were united in marriage.

In 1984, Regina retired from Holden Insurance Company, after a long insurance career.

Regina was a member of Cathedral of Christ the King, Superior.

Some of her interests included gardening, canning, traveling, fishing, bird watching and spending time at the family cabin in Port Wing.

Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Lawrence in 1996; and brother, Edward.

She is survived by her daughters, Laura (Jerry) Laberdie, Superior, and Rozanne (John) Krivinchuk, Superior; grandchildren, Colton (Corrine) Krivinchuk and Kali Krivinchuk; and great-granddaughter, Lea Krivinchuk.

At Regina's request, a private service will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, June 7, 2017, at Downs Funeral Home, 1617 N. 19 ^th Street, Superior.  Reverend Father Adam Laski will officiate.

Pallbearers will be Jerry Laberdie, John Krivinchuk, Colton Krivinchuk and Howard Rasmussen.

Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Superior.
