Obituary

Reinhart B. "Bud" Wigchers, 82, of Superior, died Sunday, August 26, 2012 at St. Luke's Hospital in Duluth.

Bud was born on May 6, 1930 in Wauwatosa, Wis., the son of Reinhart G. and Cecelia Wigchers.

He served his country in the Army during the Korean Conflict.

Bud married the former Linda Richey in Spooner, Wis., on June 6, 1959.

He was a Barber for over 50 years at the Campus Barber Shop. He was a registered member of the Boy Scouts of America for over 40 years and had received the Wood Badge Award, District Award of Merit and the Silver Beaver Award. He was a member of United Presbyterian Church, the Superior Lions Club and an avid Green Bay Packers fan.

Bud was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Eugene; and a sister, Ellen Fey.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Linda; sons, Tim (Heather) of Pahrump, Nev., Gary (Helen) of Duluth Minn. and Robert of Superior; grandchildren, Ashley Osterman, Chris, Rebecca, Tawnya, Rose, Ben and Nancy Wigchers, and Paris Mattin; a great-granddaughter, Natalie Osterman; and a brother, Ed Wigchers of Spooner, Wis.

His memorial service will be held on Wednesday, August 29, at 2p.m. at the United Presbyterian Church. Rev. Joel Huenemann will officiate. Visitation will begin one hour prior. Military Honors will be accorded by the Richard I. Bong American Legion Post #435.

In Lieu of flowers, donation may be made to United Presbyterian Church.
