Richard R. 'Dick' Bishop, 76, died Sunday, January 22, 2017, at Twin Ports Health Center, Superior, WI.

He was born in Superior on April 4, 1940, the son of Roy and Grace Bishop.

Dick graduated from East High School in 1958 and enlisted in the Navy that summer.  He had worked at Geno's as a plant manager.  Dick enjoyed playing golf, bowling and pool.

He is preceded in death by his parents; spouses, Linda Bishop and Emelie Bishop Rainbolt.

Dick is survived by his children, Cheri (Andy) Black, Cartersville, GA, Dawn (Rick) Carter, Rydal, GA, and Scott (Dyana) Bishop, Marietta, GA; grandchildren, Jessica, Sara, Bryan, Kaitlyn, David, and Elizabeth; great-grandchild, Camden, Bennett, and Addalyn; siblings, Eileen McDonald, Betty Flahaven, Paul (Lucy) Bishop, and Terry (Lucy) Bishop, all of Superior; first wife, Jackie Arrendale, Cartersville, GA; and many nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be Thursday, January 26, from noon until the 1:00 p.m. memorial service at Downs Funeral Home, corner of 19 ^th and Ogden Ave., Rev. Fr. James Tobolski officiating. Military Honors will be accorded by the Richard I. Bong American Legion Post #435.

Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery in the spring.
