Richard Daniel Hoadley, 80, of Bennett, passed away at home Sunday, April 12, 2026, after a battle with COPD, heart problems, and lung cancer.

Rick was employed by Georgia Pacific from 1965 to 2001 when the plant closed. In his younger years, Rick loved deer hunting and fishing.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Annette Hoadley; brother, John; and daughter, Lynette.

Rick will be greatly missed by his loving wife of over 60 years, Laurie; daughter, Shari Stafne; 3 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren; and brother, David (Margaret) Hoadley.

Following Rick's wishes no services will be held. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
