Richard L. Johnson "Dick", age 88 of Foxboro, Wisconsin passed away at his home on December 16, 2015 surrounded by his family.
Born in Superior, Wisconsin to Cora and Edward Johnson in 1927, Dick graduated from Superior Central High School in 1945. He joined the Army Air Force and, after basic training in Kansas City, Dick was stationed in the sunny South Seas. Upon his return to the Twin Ports he married Marjorie Wick in 1949. Dick and Marge shared 66 years of marriage.
His work in life included: helping found Four Star Construction, Ironworker Superintendent for Lakehead Constructors, a Wick Buildings dealer, and beef farmer. In his free time he enjoyed spending time with his family, dancing, listening to music, reading, traveling, being active with his children and grandchildren, putting up hay, wood working, and clearing the fields with a variety of big toys (tractors and bulldozers).
In addition to his wife, Marjorie, he is survived by his children: Linda (Richard) Capra, Rick, Brian (Chris), Barbara (Mike) Stupak, Susan (Jeff) Heller, Marjie (Dave) Goad, Amy (Edward) Smith, 18 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren.
Richard is preceded in death by his parents, Cora and Edward Johnson, his brother Robert, and daughter-in-law, Susan (Fitch) Johnson.

Services will be held on Monday, December 21, 2015 at Country Peace Presbyterian Church, 4694 S County Rd A, Superior, WI 54880. Rev. Richard Blood will officiate. Visitation begins at 12PM. Memorial begins at 1PM.
