Riley Hope Dinehart, precious baby girl of parents Cori DeMoure and Christopher Dinehart, was born on June 1st 2016. Riley was diagnosed with a rare brain condition, Holoprosencephaly, in utero at 12 weeks. The doctors did not expect her to make it to term or live long after birth. She lived a beautiful 30 hours surrounded by family and friends. She passed away peacefully in her sleep on June 3rd 2016. Riley was a special miracle that brought joy to everyone who was lucky enough to meet her.
She is survived by her parents; older siblings, Jorryn and Rowyn DeMoure; maternal grandparents, Susan (Earl) Grandahl-Mckenzie and Victor Grandahl; paternal grandparents, Sandra and Nick Dinehart; great-grandfather, Charles Rutheford; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
She is preceded in death by brother, Bayne Dinehart and paternal great-grandmother, Loraine Truax.
A memorial/BBQ to honor Riley and Bayne will be held at Turtle Park, 315 13th Ave East in Superior, at 4pm on Saturday, June 25th, 2016. A lantern lighting will also be held at dusk at Barkers Island in Superior.
