Robert E. Fry, 82, of Foxboro, formerly of Superior, died Sunday, October 7, 2018, at his daughter's residence.

He was born August 26, 1936, in Chicago, IL, son of William and Florence Fry.

Bob honorably served his country with the U.S. Air Force.

Bob worked as a steelworker for U.S. Steel, in Morgan Park.  Some of his other occupations included machine operator, farmer and maintenance worker.

On June 1, 1957, in Superior, Robert E. Fry and Yvonne F. Danielson were united in marriage.

Some of Bob's interests were watching movies and T.V., especially old westerns. He also enjoyed working on cars and trucks.

Preceding him in death were his parents; wife, Yvonne in 2017; son, Robert; grandchildren, Thorisa and Eric; siblings, Ray, George, Kenny, and Evelynn.

Survivors include his daughters, Julie (Greg) Visger, Siren, WI, Wendy (Kim) Paulson, Foxboro, WI, Kathy (Harvey) Fry, Beaver Dam, WI, and Kimberly (Terry) Fry, Salem, NC; sons, George (Karen) Fry, Menomonie, WI, and Patrick (Ann) Fry, South Range, WI; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; and sister, Margie of Lansing, IL.

A celebration of Bob's life will be from 10 until 11 a.m., Saturday October 20, 2018, at Downs Funeral Home, 1617 N. 19 ^th Street, Superior.
