Robert N. Fry, 54, of Mesa, Ariz. passed away Thurs., June 21, 2012 after a short illness.
He was born Jan. 31, 1958 in Chicago, Ill. to Robert E. and Yvonne F. (Danielson) Fry. The family moved to the Superior, Wis. area in the early 1960's.
He enjoyed camping, fishing and playing pool.
He had been employed at Jeno's, and as a baker at Holmes Bakery in east end Superior. He'd also bartended at Wildwood Inn in Douglas county.
Robert married Linda M. Flaig on Sept. 14, 2005. They moved to Mesa in 2007.
He is survived by his wife Linda; his parents; a daughter, Randella (John) Pogadzinski of Madison Wis.; a step-daughter, Karen Maher (Terry Gutz) of Mesa; a step-son, Rob Flaig of Racine Wis.; 2 grandsons; 10 step-grandchildren; 3 step-great-grandchildren; brothers, George (Karen) Fry of Menomonie, Wis., and Patrick Fry of South Range Wis.; sisters Julie (Greg) Visger of Spooner, Wis., Wendy (Kim) Paulson of Foxboro, Wis., Kathy Fry of Beaver Dam, Wis., and Kimberly Fry of Kernersville N.C., and several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
He was preceded in death by a step-son, Ken Flaig.
A time of remembrance will be held in Downs Funeral Home, corner of Ogden Ave. & 19th St., from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Wed., July 11th.
