Robert D. Granquist, 78, of South Range, died Monday, June 6, 2022, at Marshfield Medical Center in Marshfield, WI.

Bob was born in Superior on April 2, 1944, the son of Clifford and Cathryn (Larson) Granquist. He graduated from Superior East High School with the class of 1962. Bob served his country honorably with the U.S. Navy.

He married Marianne Monberg on March 21, 1975, and they recently celebrated 47 years of marriage.

He worked as an electrical technician for many years for Lakehead Pipeline, now Enbridge. Bob was a Green Bay Packer fan, and loved anything outdoors, including hunting, fishing, golfing, camping, chopping wood, and spending time at the cabin. He also enjoyed volunteering in the community during retirement.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his wife, Marianne; children, Ronda (Howard) England of Superior, Jessica (Tony) Prka of Coeur d'Alene, ID, Malinda Granquist Reynolds of Spokane, WA, Dean (Jessie) Granquist of South Range, and Niki (Dave Cone) Granquist of Superior; grandchildren, Mason and Max Reynolds, Jack Prka, and Katrina and Jack Casper; brothers, Darrel (Barbara) Granquist, and Jack Granquist; and extended family.

A funeral service will be held on Monday June 27 ^th at 11:00 a.m. with visitation one hour prior at Downs Funeral Home, 1617 N 19 ^th St., Superior with Rev. H. Duane Aslyn as officiant.

Military Honors will be accorded by the Richard I. Bong American Legion Post #435.
