Robert 'Bob' Pretts, 73, of Superior passed away peacefully on January 3, 2022, at his home with his wife and family by his side.

He was born on Sept. 19, 1948, to John and June Pretts in Wenatchee, WA. He was a 1967 graduate of Northwestern School of Agriculture in Crookston MN. Bob joined the U.S. Navy right out of high school and served his country for 4 years on a naval ship. He and his brother Wayne served together on the USS Grand Canyon AD28.

Bob's employment consisted of co-owning the Candle Hutch, with his wife Phyllis, Tandy Leather, Continental Foods, many years doing craft shows selling his woodworking and crafts, RGIS Inventory, owning and running HWY 13 Go-Cart Racetrack, and owner/operator of Superior Trophy Plus.

Bob had many great friends through the hobbies he enjoyed throughout his life, snowmobiling, ATVing, skiing, go-karting, side-by-siding, RVing & camping. Bob was one of the original founders of the S.W.O.R.D.'s ATV Club in 1986 and was their first president. He rejoined the club again in 2018. He was also a member of the Thirstday Riders and the Winnebago (WIT) Club.

He was preceded in death by his parents John and June, and his brother Jack.

Bob is survived by his wife of 48 years, Phyllis; daughters, Kimberly of Fredericksburg, VA, and Mandy of Superior; son, Robert (Kenna) of Oak Grove, MN; grandson, Cole Tyson; three granddaughters, Valerie, Bridgette, and Morgan Pretts, and a great-grandbaby-to-be; and a brother Wayne of East Wenatchee, WA.

A Celebration of Bob's life will be held on Saturday, January 15 ^th from 11:00 until 1:00 p.m. at Downs Funeral Home, 1617 N 19 ^th St., Superior. Military honors will be accorded by the Richard I. Bong American Legion Post #435.

The family would like to thank the Essentia Health System and the Hospice team for their care and kindness. Also, all family and friends who called and stopped by with food and prayers for Bob.
