Robert G. Moen, 75 passed away on Thursday, August 15, 2024 in his home.

Robert was born February 22, 1949 in Superior to Agnes (Wojciechowski) and Leonard Moen.

He married Joanne Florence Ernst November 4, 1968 in Superior.  Bob was employed as a machinist at Frazer Shipyard for many years and then as a carpenter for Byron Card Construction.

He was a member of the St. Williams Catholic Church.  Bob was an avid outdoorsman enjoying hunting, fishing, and trapping for many years.  In his down time, he loved to watch NASCAR, reading, crossword puzzles.  Bob was a history buff and enjoyed trivia.

Bob was preceded in death by his wife, Joanne Moen in 2015; his parents, his daughter, Laura Hursh; his sister, Luella Day; his brother, Leonard Moen, and Ronald Moen.

Survivors included his daughters, Kathleen (Steven) Sickler and Mary Jean Kresky; his grandchildren, Anna (Nathan) Sikorski, Amanda Jean Kresky, Brooke Kresky, Billy (Hannah) Hursh, Briannna (Cole) Spindler, Lauren (Kyle Dalpiaz) Sickler; seven great grandchildren; his sister, Carol (Ed) Hudacek; his brother, Dennis (Michelle) Moen and his son in-law Rob Hursh.

Visitation will be held Thursday, August 22, 2024 from 10:00 am until the 11:00 am Mass of Christian Burial at St. Williams Catholic Church, with Fr. Andrew Ricci as the celebrant.  Interment will be in Summit Cemetery following the mass.
