Robert Lee Parker, 85, of Foxboro, died peacefully surrounded by his family, Wednesday, March 4, 2015, at Middle River Health and Rehabilitation Center, South Range, Wisconsin.
He was born March 3, 1930, in Park Falls, Wisconsin, son of Walter Leo and Grace (Ernst) Parker.
On June 30, 1951, in Superior, Robert Parker and Evelyn Dietmeier were united in marriage.
For over 40 years Bob worked as an oiler for Archer Daniels Midland elevators.
He had proudly served his country with the Army National Guard.
Some of his interests included fishing, hunting, gardening and picking wild blueberries.
Preceding him in death were his parents; son-in-law, Jim Decker; and great-granddaughter, Keili Parker.
Survivors include his wife of over 63 years, Evelyn; 3 daughters, Rose (Robert) Seim, Superior, Mary (Dale) Darwin, Solon Springs, and Linda Parker, Solon Springs; 5 sons, Robert (Vicky) Parker, Cape Coral, Florida, John (Sheila) Parker, Blaine, Minnesota, William (Tanna) Parker, Superior, Thomas (Carol) Parker, Rochester, Minnesota, and Charles Parker, Superior; 18 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.
Visitation will be from 10 until the 11 a.m. service Saturday, March 7, 2015, at the Downs Funeral Home, 1617 N. 19th Street, Superior.
Committal prayers will be at Summit Cemetery, Town of Summit, at a later date.
