Robert 'Bud' S. Weiss, 94, of Superior, died Wednesday August 19, 2020 at Twin Ports Health Services.

Robert was born in Sunrise, MN on July 5, 1926 the son of Anna 'Annie' (Pechacek) and John Weiss. He served his country during WWII enlisting in the US Navy.

He married Lois Shears on April 19, 1952 and they celebrated 68 years of marriage. Bud had worked for the Soo Line Railroad for almost 40 years, retiring in 1986.

He was a man of leisure who enjoyed watching old tv shows, watching nature, going for lazy car drives in the country, and listening to old country music. One of his favorite past times was going dancing with Lois. He also enjoyed watching and rooting for the Packers, playing card games, penny poker with the grandkids, and spending time with his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Frank, Harold, Opal and Grace.

Bud is survived by his wife, Lois; children, Judy Weiss of Superior, Bob (Denise) Weiss of Duluth, and Theresa Weiss of Superior; grandchildren, David, Richard, and Dennis Nordlund, and Kristina, Danielle and Samuel Weiss; and sister-in-law, Delia Weiss.

A private family funeral service will be held at Downs Funeral Home, 1617 N 19 ^th St. Superior.
