Obituary

Roger C. Hoff, 80, of Superior, died Sunday, June 3, 2018, at his residence.

He was born September 12, 1937, in Superior, son of Clarence and Marian (Anderson) Hoff.

Roger attended Superior Central High School.

He worked for over 35 years in the railroad industry, retiring as a switchman for the BNSF railroad.

To say he was a Green Bay Packer, NASCAR, WISSOTA, and movie fan, would truly be an understatement.  Roger and his brother, Warren, would often show old movies, with popcorn and other concessions, at the Billings Park Civic Center.

Preceding him in death were his parents, and brother, Warren.

Survivors include his daughters, Karen (Dean) Franks, Ely, MN, and Renee (David) Middleton, South Range, WI; sons, Randall (Sheri) Hoff, Parker, CO, Ronald Hoff, Superior, and Brian (Embie) Hoff, Superior; 16 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; sister, Joan (Bob) Orr, Maryville, TN; and nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 3 until the 4 p.m. service, Saturday, June 9, 2018, at Downs Funeral Home, 1617 N. 19 th Street, Superior.

Following the service, the family invites everyone to a Celebration of Life at Jimmy's Saloon, 1812 Iowa Avenue, Superior.

Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Superior, at 1 p.m. Monday, June 11, 2018.
