Ron is preceded in death by parents Charles and Alice (Berg) Allen, his son Greg, Grandparents Emanuel (Monte) and Alice (Weber) Allen, niece Vanessa Allen, sister-in-law, Diane (Gokey) Allen, brother-in-law, Stephen Peterson.

Ron is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Jeri Gilmore, son, Michael, Superior, daughter, Gina, husband, Nick, four grandsons, Brett (Cassie), Adam (Ashley), Austin, and Petty Officer 1st Class Ryan stationed at Sigonella in Sicily, Italy. Ron grew up breaking and riding horses at the old Allen farm at 33rd and Tower Avenue. As a teenager, he worked for many businesses, from bowling alleys to delivering coal just about anything to earn some cash to buy gas for his car to ride around town with friends to see all the pretty gals. He owned and operated Allen Tree Service, Ron's Flea Market, and a General Contracting and demolition business. Ron was truly an entrepreneur like his father and grandfather.

Ron enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, sitting around the old kitchen table at the farm, or just having coffee at Perkins sharing stories with old and new friends. Every July for fifty years, you would find him at the Spooner Rodeo and loved to attend the Professional Bull Riders Rodeo Finals in Las Vegas for many years.
