Ronald P. King, 73 of Superior, died Monday, July 3, 2023, at his residence.

Ronald was born in Ashland, WI on Jan. 14, 1950, the son of George and Lucille (Arseneau) King.

He served his country in the US Army, was a proud veteran, and a member of the American Legion.

He had worked for over 20 years as a millwright at Abex/ABC Rail in Superior.

RK's passion was hunting. He also enjoyed playing pool with his brother and buddies, fishing, riding motorcycles and camping.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and siblings, Shirley Drummond and Robert King.

RK is survived by the love of his life, his wife of 52 years, Suzanne; son, Eric King; daughter, Heather Nelson; grandchildren, Rachael, Alex; and one great grandchild; siblings, Denny King of Ashland, Karen (James) Cukla of Stanley, WI, and James (Laura) King of Forest Lake, MN; many special nieces and nephews; and his two fur babies, his dog Sam who went everywhere with him and his cat Porkchop who was his baby.

A Celebration of Ronald's Life will be held on Saturday, August 5, 2023, at Mugs Bar, 515 Main St., Ashland, WI from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m.
