Obituary

Rose Mae Dalton, 90, of Superior, Wis. died Tues. April 13, 2010 in St Mary's Hospital of Superior.

Rose was born August 30, 1919 in Ladysmith, Wis. to Elvina (Bitner) and Joseph Grotzinger, and was a longtime resident of Superior

During WW II she was employed by a cannery firm in Chicago, Ill. and later had been an employee of Jeno's for many years, and also had held the position of secretary for the unemployment office in Superior.

She had been a Cub Scout Den Mother. Rose was an avid Cub's fan and also enjoyed doing puzzles.

She is survived by her children, David Dalton, Judy (Dave) Brokaw and Jim (Theresa) Dalton all of Superior. Her grandchildren; David, Kellee, Joey, Jason, Tracey, Christina, Eric, and Becky. And several great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her Husband Joseph and a grandson Robert Dalton, her parents and her siblings.

The Funeral will be held on Monday at 11:00 a.m in the Downs Funeral Home with Fr. Andrew Ricci officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.

Pallbearers will be Eric Brokaw, Jason Dalton, David Michael Dalton, Troy Frechette, Kipp Welch and Zach Farris.
