Rose M. Moen, 85, of Foxboro, WI, died Tuesday, February 20, 2024, surrounded by her loving family.

Rose was born July 7, 1938, in Superior, WI and was a lifelong area resident.

She was an active volunteer at St. Williams Church. Rose organized all the community luncheons. She was involved in 4-H, Farmer's Union, and the Douglas County Beef Improvement Association. Rose loved to play cards, garden, and bird watch. Most of all she was always there to support and cheer for her grandchildren in their activities. She will be forever remembered for her deep faith and helpful heart.

Rose was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Moen, brothers, Thomas, Hank, and Paul Podgorak; parents, Thomas and Mary Podgorak.

She is survived by her children, Leonard Moen (Erin Sanders), Mary Jo Hawkins (Monte Strickland), Julie (Chris) Litchke, and Joseph (Shelly) Moen; grandchildren, Nicole (Jason) Black, Daniel and Emily Litchke, Chloe and Caleb Moen, and Jordan Buck; great grandchild, Bauer Black; sister, Helen Dudek; brothers, Steve Podgorak, Peter (Snook) Podgorak, Tony Podgorak, and Mike Podgorak; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held 11:00 am Friday, March 1, 2024, at St. William's Church, with Rev. Fr. Andrew Ricci officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church.

Pallbearers will be Leonard Moen, Joseph Moen, Daniel Litchke, Caleb Moen, Monte Strickland, Jason Black and honorary pallbearers, Chris Litchke, Bauer Black and Jordan Buck.

Burial will be in Summit cemetery.
