Rosemary C. Sampson, 71, of Superior, Wis., died Wed., Dec. 23, 2009 at her residence.
Rosemary was born in Superior on Feb. 18, 1938.
She was a member of Cathedral of Christ the King and the Red Hat Society. She enjoyed going out to eat with friends and especially attending the Red Hat Society dinners. She loved spending time with her family.
Rosemary was preceded in death by her parents, Irene (Tusken) and Elmer Anderson; her husband, John E.; and her daughter, Sue Maeder.
She is survived by her two sons, Todd Sampson of Superior and Michael (Colette) Sampson of Mason, Iowa; grandchildren, Lindsay (Dan) Nash of Duluth, Minn., Ryan (Liz) Maeder of Proctor, Minn., Tim Tuura of Superior, Clayton, Kacy, and Claire Sampson all of Mason, Iowa, Melissa (Chris) Buesgen of Eau Claire, Wis., and Leah (Rob) Kottera of Superior; and many great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be on Wed., Dec. 30th from 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Cathedral of Christ the King. Rev. Fr. Andrew Ricci and Rev. Fr. James Tobolski will concelebrate. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery in Minong, Wis.
