Rubin A. Kakko's Obituary
Rubin A. Kakko, 66 of Brookston, Minn., formerly of Superior, died Mon. Feb. 15, 2010 at the Lamb House in Brookston.
Rubin was born on June 22, 1943 in Duluth, Minn. the son of Jennie (Granlund) and Matt Kakko.
He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Rubin was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Carol Cubrich.
He is survived by his sisters, Sandra Drinkwine of Superior, Shirley (Carl) Andrews of Solon Springs and Irene (Randy) Triske of Grand Forks, N. Dak.; brothers Randy (Kim) Kakko of Stewartville, Minn. and Wayne and Raymond Kakko of Superior; and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Thurs. Feb. 18, at Noon at the Central Assembly of God with Rev. Thomas Miller officiating.
Downs Funeral Home, corner of 19th St. and Ogden Ave is assisting the family with arrangements.
