Ruth Brunette 84, of Superior died Saturday August 14, 2010 in St. Mary's Hospice in Duluth.

Ruth was born January 12, 1925 in Cook Minnesota to Gladys and Edwin Frost.

She is survived by her sons, Edward (Mary) Olson of Rinuiville, KY and Leonard (Michelle) Olson of Circle Pines, MN; her daughters, Gladys (Bob) Van Ert of Amnicon Lake, and Norma (Dennis) Moran of Tucson, AZ; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; her brothers John "Jack" (Alice) Frost of Esko, MN and Russell (Sherri) Frost of Maiden Rock, WI; a sister Veronica Rice of Beloit, WI; and a daughter-in-law Lillie Olson.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter Shelly Ann; a son Ken Olson; her husbands, Harold Olson and Ed Brunette; and brothers, Edward Frost and Robert Frost.

Funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 19th at 11:00 in Downs Funeral Home, corner of 19th & Ogden Ave., with Rev Mark Holmes and Lay Minister Jim McCusker of Darrow Road Wesleyan Church officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be, Jerry Olson, Wally Olson, Brad Van Ert, Jason Van Ert, Edward Olson and Robert Olson.
