It is with heavy hearts and tears that we say goodbye to Sandra “Sam” Jean Shupe, who passed away unexpectedly on September 2, 2026, at the age of 68.

She was born in Duluth, MN on June 1, 1958, and grew up in Oliver, WI. Her love of life, children and holidays, especially Christmas, was unlimited and the child in her shined brightly. Sam loved collecting stuffed animals, musical animals that moved and snow globes. Just about anything that played music She was a total free spirit and one hell of a spit fire.

She was preceded in death by her father Albert Buttrick and her siblings Sherry (Bob) Albright and Scott (Linnae) Buttrick.

Sam is survived by her husband of 49 years Norm; sons Michael (Amy) Shupe and Eric (Tiffany) Shupe; her mother Mary Buttrick and sisters Stacey (Ed) Carlson, Steph LeDoux, Shannon (Steve) Rawson and brother Shawn Buttrick. Six grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Sam will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

A celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 26th, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm at the Oliver Village Hall, 2125 E State Street.
