Selma H. Ambrose's Obituary
Selma H. Ambrose, 87, of Superior died Wednesday June 17, 2015 in Villa Marina Health and Rehab.
Selma was born on April 16, 1928 in Bear Lake, Mich. to Ida (Caske) and William Lindeman.
Selma was an Elementary teacher in Michigan for several years, and was a longtime member of Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church.
She is survived a daughter, Paula (Ed) Snay of Washington Township, Mich.; two sons, Rell W. (Barbara) Ambrose of Columbus, Ohio and Duane (Debbie) Ambrose of Grand Rapids, Mich.; eight grandchildren and one great- grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Ambrose; a brother, Dick Lindeman; and a sister, Helen Schafer.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, June 24th, at 11:00 a.m. in Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church, with Rev. David Schoessow officiating. Visitation will be from 9:30 until the hour of service.
In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the Church's memorial garden or the National Kidney Foundation.
Downs Funeral Home, corner of 19th St. and Ogden Ave., is assisting the family with arrangements.
