Sharen L. Fritsch's Obituary
Sharen L. Fritsch, 68 of Poplar, died Sunday, December 11, 2011 at her residence.
Sharen was born in Ashland, Wis. the daughter of Odin and Lillian Olby.
She was a devoted wife and mother and most important to her was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She also enjoyed, crocheting, reading, knitting and baking.
Sharen was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Jim, Dewaine and Bob; and a sister Esther.
She is survived by her husband, Marlen, they would have celebrated 50 years of marriage in May; her children, Julie Franz of Kasson, Minn., Gerald Fritsch of Superior and Jeff and his wife Stacey Fritsch of Superior; grandchildren, Timothy, Jacob and Joshua; two sisters, Evie and her husband Lee and Phyllis and her husband Lloyd; a brother, Ernie; sisters-in-law, Cherie and Margaret; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 10:30 to the 11 a.m. memorial service, Saturday, January 21, 2012 at the Moland Church in Mason, Wis.
Downs Funeral Home, corner of 19th and Ogden, is assisting the family with arrangements.
