Sharon L. Stringer, age 87, passed away Thursday May 28, 2026, in Villa Marina Health and Rehab.

Sharon was born on November 19, 1938 to Aleda M. (Swanson) and Edward F. Fisher in Superior. She enjoyed any activity that was outdoors, especially golfing, skiing, biking, hiking and gardening. She loved her pets and had a big heart for all animals. She would feed and care for whatever critters came into her yard.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Kenneth “Boots”; her brother Edward and sister Gwen.

Sharon is lovingly survived by her daughters Lisa (Scott) Savoy of Hawthorne, Shelly (John) Pettingill of Superior and Kristy (Rodney) Pearson also of Superior; her 9 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren; also, by several nieces and nephews.

The family would like to extend their gratitude to the staff of Essentia Hospice and Villa Marina Health and Rehab for their excellent care of Sharon.

Memorials may be made the Parkinson’s Foundation or the Douglas County Humane Society.

Per Sharon’s wishes there will be no services.
