Shawn R. Zimmerman, 47, of Superior, died Friday, March 5, 2021 at Essentia Health-Miller Dwan, Duluth.

Shawn was born November 17, 1973 in Superior, son of Sharon Eades and Gordon Fels.

He worked at Charter Films for many years and enjoyed fishing, watching sports and listening to music.

Preceding him in death was his mother, Sharon (Eades) Zimmerman.

Survivors include his father, Gordon Fels, Bovey, MN; brother, Dale Zimmerman, Superior; sister, Wendy (Lance) Johnston, Cottage Grove, MN; and 4 nieces, Amanda, Lisa, Karly, and Taylor.  Also, many aunts, uncles and cousins.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday April 16, 2021 at Calvary Cemetery, Superior.  Reverend Mark Holmes will officiate.

Downs Funeral Home, 1617 N. 19 ^th Street, Superior is assisting the family with arrangements.
