Sheila R. Love, age 60 of Superior, Wisconsin, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, September 29, 2025, at the Essentia St. Mary's Medical Center located in Duluth, Minnesota.

Sheila was born on October 16, 1964, in Cudahy, Wisconsin, to her parents Carol (Lawrence) and Stanley Coleman.

She dedicated many years of her life working as the manager of the former Animal Rescue Shelter in Superior, a well-known local facility committed to animal welfare. Sheila deeply loved all animals and was known for her compassionate nature, often adopting the most neglected and abandoned animals to provide them with the love and care they deserved. Despite becoming a quadriplegic following a fall 13 years ago, her resilient spirit and positive attitude remained unwavering. Sheila's cheerful personality was evident; she was always happy to see new faces and appreciated visitors immensely.

A passionate music enthusiast, she loved classic Rock and Roll, especially bands like Pink Floyd, and was celebrated for the energetic enthusiasm she brought to social gatherings. An accomplished artist, Sheila possessed significant talent in both painting and woodworking, often creating beautiful pieces that reflected her creativity. She also enjoyed gardening and spending quality time in her beloved "She Shed," a personalized retreat she treasured.

Above all, Sheila's greatest passion was her grandchildren, cherishing every moment spent with them and eagerly sharing stories about their achievements with friends and family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Carol and Stanley.

Sheila is survived by her children, Samantha (Thomas) Collins and Christopher (Katie) Strodtman; her grandchildren, Addison Mettler, Rylee Collins, Landyn Strodtman, Brysen Strodtman, and Harper Strodtman; her brother, Shawn (Melanie) Coleman; and her nephews, Garrett (Jeannyne) Coleman and Adam Coleman.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 18, 2025, at Gordon Cemetery. A celebration of her life will follow at the residence of Craig and Lori Coleman, located at 11667 South Smith Road, Solon Springs, Wisconsin.
