Shirley M. Hudacek's Obituary
Shirley M. Hudacek, 88, of Superior was received into the arms of Our Lord on Thursday, April 30, 2015 at St. Francis in the Park Nursing Home.
She was the daughter of Mary Perkins and was born on July 10, 1926 in Superior. Shirley graduated from Superior Central High School in 1944. On September 14, 1946, she married Joseph Hudacek.
Shirley worked as a clerk at Wally's Bakery and Piggly Wiggly stores. She dedicated her life to the service of others while engaged in organizing class reunions, working the local polling stations, and caring for others. She enjoyed baking and cooking and always had a dessert. She especially cherished time spent with family.
Shirley is preceded in death by her mother, Mary Perkins and a brother, Thomas Perkins.
She is survived by her husband of 69 years, Joseph; sons, Thomas (Irene, Jim (Ellyn), Richard (Nancy) and Timothy (Ginger); eight grandchildren, Jennifer (Mike) Saari, Krysta (Scott) Vergin, Jeffry (Emilie) Hudacek, Stevie Hudacek, Joy (Clint) St. John, Jill Hudacek, Andre (Veronica) Hudacek, and Kevin (Crystal) Hudacek; and eight great-grandchildren.
A private memorial service with family will be held at a future date.
