Shirley M. Rasmussen, 82, died Sunday, October 2, 2016 at Essentia-St. Mary's in Duluth.

She was born in Dairyland, WI, November 21, 1933, the daughter of Victor and Edith Corbin.

Shirley married Clifford Rasmussen, Jr. on October 18, 1952, and they celebrated 43 years of marriage.

Shirley is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Clifford Jr.; infant son, Victor; sisters, Helen, Mary Lou, and Norma; and brother, Doug.

She is survived by her children, Steve Rasmussen of Dairyland, WI, Vicky (Bob) Parker of Cape Coral, FL, Gloria (Darrell) Hoeffling of Apache Junction, AZ, Sharen (Don) Johnstad of South Range, and Karen (Alan) Mains of Foxboro; siblings, Harvey (Jean) Corbin and Linda (Jack) Thompson, both of Foxboro; 11 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.

Service will be at Darrow Road Wesleyan Church on Saturday, October 8, 2016, at 11:00 a.m with Reverend Mark Holmes officiating.  Visitation one hour prior.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons and sons-in-law, and honorary pallbearers her granddaughters.

Burial will be in River Hill Cemetery, Dairyland, WI.
