Shirley M. (Sherlock) Turner, 90, of Superior, died Sunday, October 14, 2018, at Essentia Health- St. Mary's Medical Center in Duluth.

She was born in Superior on March 5, 1928, the daughter of Arthur and Lillian Simons.

Shirley married Leonard 'Bud' Sherlock on August 30, 1947.  After their wedding, they moved to California until 1976 when they returned to Superior.  Bud died on October 14, 1985.

She enjoyed being with her friends at Golden Apartments.  Most of all she loved being around her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Leonard Sherlock; son, Jeffrey Sherlock; and brother, Donald Simons.

Shirley is survived by her children, Ronald (Joyce) Sherlock of Steger, IL, Larry (Kay) Sherlock of Mesa, AZ, Michael Sherlock of Gilbert, AZ, Steven (Jeanette) Sherlock of Mesa, AZ, Mark (Jamie) Sherlock of Superior, and Robbi (Joseph) Tribbey of Superior; 19 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Her visitation will be on Friday, November 2, 2018, from 10:00 until the 11:00 a.m. memorial service at Downs Funeral Home, 1617 N 19 ^th Street.  Pastor Wesley Koehler will officiate.  Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
