Shirley E. Williams, 88, of Superior, died Friday, March 13, 2020, at her residence.

She was born August 5, 1931 in Park Falls, WI, daughter of Charles and Maybelle (Britzman) Williams.

Shirley spent over 50 years with the Challenge Center. She competed in the Special Olympics, specializing in track and field, and bowling. Shirley was a very kind person and loved hugs.

Preceding her in death were her parents; 7 siblings; and special friend, Donald Anderson.

The guardians wish to give a hearty thanks to all the staff at the Challenge Center and Mountainview Home for their many years in loving care on Shirley. Because of you, her life was full.

Due to COVID19 and the Wisconsin Governor's order to avoid gatherings of 10 or more people, the services have been postponed until a later date.
