Shirley A. Woodhull, 74, of Poplar, passed away Tuesday April 22, 2025, at her residence with her husband John by her side.

Shirley was born in Superior on June 16, 1950, the daughter of Gerald and Louise (Edquist) Colby.

She enjoyed watching football, going fishing and camping. She loved the time spent with her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Judy Little, Janet Colby, and Laura Colby; and nephew, Michael White.

Shirley is survived by her husband of 56 years, John; daughters, Ann (David) Chillman of Maple, Sherry (Alvin Miller) Woodhull of Hawthorne, and Sarah Woodhull of South Range; grandchildren, Justin (Misty) Chillman, Amanda (Martin) Skiba, Brandie Rivord, Shawn Rivord, Lita Breitung and Michael Breitung; great grandchildren, Kayleigh, Cheyenne, Bennett, Ethan, Aubree, Chase, Peyton, Adraleigh, Nolan, Blaze and Jacobe; sisters, Doris (Emery) Jones, Geraldine Karna, Corrine White, and Mary (Herman) Horst; brother, Jerry Colby; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Visitation will be held on Saturday May 17th from 10:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. funeral service at Downs Life Celebration Center, 1902 N 34th St., with Gary Banker as officiant.
