Stanley Keith Dahlberg, 74, of Superior, WI, died Saturday, March 29, 2025, at St. Luke's surrounded by and holding hands of those he loved.

He was born February 26, 1951, in Superior, WI to Theodore and Edythe (Stevens) Dahlberg. He was raised in the Poplar, WI area where he was an important part of the community. Graduating in 1970 from Northwestern, he got his associate's degree in Auto Mechanics from WITC. He married Joan Luoma in 1972, and they had two sons, Chris and Rob. Stan became the main custodian for Poplar Elementary School from the mid-1970s thru its merger to become Northwestern Elementary School until his retirement in 2011. He married Claudia (Armour) Tuura in 1991, and they built a beautiful life together centered on family and faith. He was always finding ways to support his community and was a huge part of the Poplar Volunteer Fire Department for many, many years.

Stan was a man of few words, always behind the camera instead of in front of it. He was the first to offer a helping hand to anyone in need, never claiming recognition for all his generosity. He was known for his ability to 'fix anything' and would work any problem through until he had a solution. He lived his faith with a quiet, but strong devotion and is now resting in the arms of Jesus. 'Well done, my good and faithful servant.'

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Ted; sister-in-law, Mary Ann; brothers, Dale and Dennis; and sister, Kay Riggio.

Stanley is survived by his wife, Claudia; children, Chris (Jenn) Dahlberg, Rob (Lindsey) Dahlberg, Jason (Jenn) Tuura, Colleen (John Wicklund) Tuura, Erikka (Will) Bergsten, and Amanda (Mustaf) Krasnici; grandchildren, Brendan, Jace, Cyler, Dominic, Dustin, Justice, Will, Kassia, Cyrek, Kaylie, Jeremy, Justin, Mason, Paige, Krissa, Coral, Hunter, Archer, Imer, Erion, and Diellza; great grandchildren, Evan, Emma, Nolan, Ivy, and baby-on-the-way; brothers, Lloyd (Cathy) Dahlberg, Rick Dahlberg, and Ray (Georgia) Dahlberg; sister, Nancy (Fred) Renman; sister-in-law, Shirley Dahlberg; and so many nieces and nephews, it's hard to count!

Visitation for Stanley will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 10, 2025, at St. Anthony Catholic Church, 4315 E 3rd St. in Superior, and will continue until the 11:00 a.m. Funeral Mass celebrated by Rev. Fr. Andrew Ricci.
