Stephen M. Mcdonald's Obituary
Stephen M. McDonald 48, of Superior died Sunday August 19, 2012 in Solvay Hospice house in Duluth after a long struggle with a Brain tumor.
He was born May 28, 1964 in Duluth to Eileen (Bishop) and Joseph McDonald and had been a Superior resident most of his life.
Stephen was employed by Essentia Health as a custodian.
He enjoyed fishing and spending time with family at the cabin. He was an avid Packer fan. He was a kind and caring man who was liked and loved by all who knew him.
Stephen is survived by his wife, Janette; two sons, Spencer and Mason; his mother Eileen McDonald of Superior; and a brother, Patrick (Denise) McDonald of Superior.
He was preceded in death by his father, Judge Joseph McDonald; and grandparents Roy and Grace Bishop and Joe and Corinne McDonald.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday at 11:00 in St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church with Rev. Fr. James Tobolski as Celebrant. Visitation will be after 5:00 on Thursday in Downs Funeral Home, 19th & Ogden, with a Scripture service at 7:00 and will resume at the Church on Friday at 10:00. Interment will be St. Francis Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Terry Bishop, Phil Bishop, Paul Bishop, Chris Bishop Mark Flahaven and Kevin Sweeney.
