Tamera 'Tammy' L. Nyberg, 45, of Superior, died unexpectedly Tuesday, October 9, 2018, at her home.

Tammy was born on March 12, 1973 in Superior, the daughter of Richard and Barbara Nyberg. She was known for her contagious laughter, jokes and easygoing spirit. She loved animals, her dog Zippy was a big part of her life.  Her generosity was recognized by the many friends she met while volunteering wherever she was needed.  She will be greatly missed.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Lawrence 'Larry' Nyberg.

Tammy is survived by her brother, Todd (Donna) Nyberg of Michigan; nephew, Joseph (Nell) Nyberg, VA; niece, Kacey (Ben) Pope, CA; nephew, Joshua Nyberg, MI; nephew, Mark Nyberg, MI; great-nieces, Taylor and Delilah; great-nephews, Cayden and Logan; and her beloved dog, Zippy.

Her visitation will be on Saturday, October 20, 2018, from 1:00 until the 2:00 p.m. memorial service at Downs Funeral Home, 1617 N 19 ^th Street, with Gary Banker as officiant. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.

There will be a luncheon immediately following the service at the Moose Lodge 66 E 5 ^th St. Superior.
