Tammy L. Nelson, 63, passed away Thursday, April 23, 2026, at her home.

Tammy was born on May 14, 1962, in Superior, Wisconsin, to Anna (Gibbs) and Richard Peters.

She worked as a waitress for many years, first at Perkins and later at the Town Crier in Superior. Tammy was an avid reader with a soft spot for animals, especially cats. Earlier in her life, she enjoyed drawing and painting. Though she never sold her artwork, she generously shared her creations as gifts for friends and family.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jeffrey; and her sisters, Linda Reimers and Suzy Stalvig.

Tammy is survived by her daughter, Jessica (Joseph) Pearson; her grandchildren, Teagan, Orion, Rosalind, Cordelia, Apollo, and Evander; her nieces, Maria (Shane) and Lori (Jason); and her nephews, Aaron (Emmy), Dane (Jennifer), and Koby (Danelle).

In accordance with her wishes, no services are planned at this time.
