Teresa A. Koch Flood, 63, of Bennett, died on Thursday, April 11, 2024, at her residence, after her battle with cancer.

She was born on December 15, 1960, in Superior, the daughter of Joann (Grenier) and James Sackett.

On August 28, 2000, Teresa Sackett and Edward Flood were united in marriage in Sioux Falls, SD.

Teresa was co-owner of The Kitchen restaurant with her husband Ed, where she loved being around her co-workers and regular customers; she referred to them as her "peeps". Teresa enjoyed her pets, and living the country life, including gardening, and feeding the birds. Also important to her was supporting law enforcement. Teresa would often publicly sponsor local law enforcement, including events hosted at The Kitchen. She was also co-founder of the Spartan Hot-Rod, a mentoring program for high school students, and was a Lego collector.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include her husband, Ed; sons, Joseph (Ahnna OlGrady) Warring of Superior, Erick Warring of South Range, and Kellen (Katie) Flood of Foxboro; daughters, Laura Vanderbeek of St. Cloud, MN, and Amanda (Mickie Krippner) Hinnenkamp of Cold Spring, MN; 11 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; sister, Della (Stephen) Mackiewicz of Rice Lake, WI; brother, James (Lori) Sackett of Foxboro; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 18, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Cathedral of Christ the King Church, 1111 Belknap Street, Superior, with Rev. Fr. Andrew Ricci as celebrant.

Honorary pallbearers will be Jerry Hallsten, Scott Harroun, April Harroun, Erick Flood, Lyle Kunert and Al Butterworth.
