Terry Lee Oaks, 62, of Superior, died Wednesday, March 28, 2018, at Solvay Hospice House in Duluth.

He was born on September 30, 1955, the son of Norbert and Joy (Baumgartner) Oaks.

Terry was a gifted artist and guitarist.  He loved life and his hobbies which included building model cars, riding motorcycles and ATV's, camping, and flying airplanes and drones.

Terry was blessed to have been married to Tammy for 18 years and continued to give her his proverbial wink even at the end- he will be greatly missed.

Preceded in death by paternal grandparents; maternal grandparents; father, Norbert; mother, Joy; and brother, Roy.

Survived by his wife, Tammy (Cooper); step-sons, Tim, Thomas, and Tyler; fur child, Manny; sister, Maria (Bobby) Krynicki; son, Kyle; daughter, Lacey; mother and father in law, Bud and Irma Cooper; brothers-in-law, Jim (Lynn), Gene (Paula), Tony (Anne), and Robbie (Steph); sister-in-law, Amy (Brad); 3 grandsons; 2 granddaughters; and several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be on Friday, April 20, from 4:00 to 10:00 p.m. at the Eagles Club in Superior.
