Terry R. Spooner, 76, of Duluth, died Friday October 17, 2025, at Open Arms Senior Living in Duluth.

Terry was born in Duluth on April 17, 1949. He graduated from Duluth East High School and went on to earn his bachelor's degree from the University of MN Duluth.

He married Beth Carlson on August 27, 1983, and they celebrated 40 years of marriage until her death in 2023.

Terry had worked for Cutler Magner now Graymont for many years as a sales manager.

Terry enjoyed anything outdoors, especially fishing, hunting, camping, and boating. He also loved gardening and produced many tomatoes over the years.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Thompson, and brothers-in-law, Richard Lundquist, Denny Carlson, and Jerry Berglund.

Terry is survived by his children, Todd (Elisha) Greig, Andrew Spooner, and Devon (Andrew) Maycock; grandchildren, Eli, Henry, Fiona, Jonathan & Gavin; sister, Chris Lundquist; brother-in-law, Paul (Candee) Carlson; sister-in-law, Linda Berglund; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family.

A Celebration of Terry's Life will be held on Friday, October 24th from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Downs Life Celebration Center, 1902 N 34th St., Superior.
